To stay in Dar Raha is to stay in a (large) family house :
bathrooms and toilets are at short distance from bedrooms.
Dar Raha is a mud and palm-tree house : bathrooms
and toilets couldn’t be fitted in bedrooms without changes in
its structure proper to alter its authenticity. |
Sleeping in summer
During summer (June-September), Dar Raha offer meaningful protection against the heat, thanks to its thick pisé walls. Nevertheless, the Dra Valley is a pre-saharian region and the weather is such that, traditionally, all local people sleep on the top terrace of their home. Then, it is ill-advised to try and sleep in bedrooms at that time and much better to sleep outside. Some prefer the beds on their own terrace or in the mezzanine, but the best place is certainly our large top terrace. There, you benefit from the breeze and the marvellous sight of the sky with its myriads of stars that you can’t see in the North. Have a wonderful night!

Bed & breakfast or half-board ?
We welcome with open arms our hosts choosing the bed and breakfast option.
Let us just warn you that, in such a case, we might not be able to meet your wishes
if you change your mind upon arrival as most of our B&B hosts do,
since we prepare diner only for our hosts, or on a few hours advance notice order.

In case of cancellation :
- More than 3 weeks before the stay : refunding of the deposit.
- Less than 3 weeks before the stay : no refunding
- In case of shortening of the stay, 50% of the nights cancelled are due.
