If you wish to further explore the valley, we can advice you on itineraries and possibilities. (You’ve got to know that you cannot rent a car in Zagora but you must do it from Warzazat, Marrakech, Agadir or Casablanca.)

You can drive north and south of Zagora to visit the palm grove and its multiple qsour, zaouïa and kasbah, at Tamgrout, Beni Sbih, M’hamid, or Beni Zouli, Tinzulin, Agdz...

Remarkable rocks painting and carving sites are scattered at the bottom of the mountains : to discover them, you’ll need a guide and a all-roads vehicle – but we recommend… the dromedary !

The same applies to who wants to explore the surrounding moutains : Djebel Beni, Djebel Bani, Djebel Saghro...

Anyway, you must know that at Dar Raha it is also possible to… do nothing ! To come down and rest, to slip into the local serene living rhythm, to enjoy noises of the country in the middle of the desert, to take a breathe of cool air on the top-terrace while contemplating the mountain, the qsar and the palm grove, to read, write and be carried by encounters and atmospheres…
