Artists
Edoardo Di Muro , great observer and exhilarating drawer of African social life (cf. Afriques Capitales, Africa Capitals , Paris, Sepia, 1995), has been visiting Amezrou at the invitation of Dar Raha and stayed from 10 to 23 February 2006, the time to sketch out a lot of sites from the souq to the mountain, to befriend many neighbours.

A range of postal cards drawned by Edoardo Di Muro gave to Dar Raha and Welcome to Amezrou, Cutlural Site project, a series of original drawings to edit as postal cards on zagora and its Surroundings.
A jointly drawned poster is currently in process following the workshop, and the publication of a series of postal cards is envisaged, as well as the setting of a serigraphy workshop in partnership with the Association for the development of Amezrou.
Provided that we manage to get the necessary support, Edoardo Di Muro is ready to come back in order to exhibit its lithographies and to run an extended workshop around the creation of cartoons.

Fifth ‘Rencontres de la Nouvelle’ de Zagora
Dar Raha’s welcomed, in March 2007, the Fifth « Rencontres de la Nouvelle » organised by the Club « Marges de la Nouvelle » de Zagora, in partnership with Dar Raha and Long Distance Association, on the topic : Sahara in the writing of young novelists.

Round-table on the Sahara as “the horizon of short-story writing”, readings and exchanges with the audience, and a workshop on “writing and experience” made the programme of these emotional and intense days, into which a good number of young local writers-to-be participated.
Dar Raha welcomed :
- On 24 and 25 September 2005, in the framework of its partnership with the Zagora Club "Marge de la nouvelle", three Moroccan writers :
Noureddine Bazin, author of : Sur la porte de sa majesté la parole (Marrakech : Editions Walili, 2004).
Malika Mostradif, author of : Trente-six (Editions Groupe de Recherche sur la Nouvelle) .
Latifa Baka, author of : Depuis ce temps-là (Department of Culture, Rabat, 2005).
- On 12th-13th March 2005, fourteen Moroccan writers who entertained a packed audience in a Zagora center venue on the topic : “Writing of the South”. Were invited : Rachida Adnawi, Fatiha Arour, Abdeljalil Azdi, Laïla Bari, Mohamed Chayb, Mohamed Chouika, Hisham Dehmani, Aziz Habib, Hassane El Moudan , Jebran Grnawi, Mohamed Kwindi, Aniss Rafâï, Abdelhamid Rbaoui, Mohamed Tinfou.

A reading workshop took place at Dar Raha on the Sunday morning.
- 24-26 October 2003 : meeting with Mr Ahmed Chikrr & Azdin Maaizi, authors of Touda and of Journal of a mountain teacher.
- 20 December 2003 : evening around the Nobel Price 2003 of Literature, J.M. Coetzee. Lectures of Abdelaziz Errachidi & Antoine Bouillon, connoisseur of South Africa (« J.M. Coetzee : Vendredi’s tongue or the place of the other »).
- 17 January 2004 : evening around late Mohamed Choukri.
- 19-22 March 2004 : Rencontres de la Nouvelle (Short-story festival) with Mustapha Jbali, Ahmed Bouzafour, Abdelmajid Jahfa & Najib Alaoufi.
